Terms of Service
LifeLens is currently in beta and distributed exclusively through Apple's TestFlight. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. We've kept them straightforward and honest. If you have questions or concerns, we're happy to discuss—just email us at lifelens.help@gmail.com.
1. Who can use LifeLens
- You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your region) and legally allowed to use a camera.
- You need an iPhone that runs the current TestFlight build. There is no Android, web, or shared account system yet.
2. Understanding Beta Status
- No guarantees: We can't promise 100% uptime, perfect accuracy, or permanent data retention during beta.
- Access may change: We reserve the right to pause beta access or discontinue builds as needed.
- Currently free: There's no charge during beta testing, so refunds don't apply.
3. How you may use the app
- Capture only photos you have the right to take and store.
- Do not share the app binary, invite codes, or screenshots you agreed to keep private.
- Do not stress-test our services with scraping, automated capture, or reverse engineering.
- Do not use LifeLens for medical diagnostics or any regulated purpose. It is reflection software only.
4. Content ownership
You own every photo and note you capture. They live locally on your device. We claim zero rights to reuse, analyze, or publish them. You are responsible for getting consent from anyone in your photos.
5. Permissions and data
The app asks for camera (required), photo library (to save images), and optional location tagging. Grant or revoke them anytime in iOS settings. Revoking a permission may break certain features; that part is on you.
6. Feedback and ideas
When you send feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas, you allow us to use that input without restriction. We are grateful, but we are not obligated to ship or credit every suggestion.
7. No warranties
LifeLens is provided “as is.” We make zero promises that it will maintain streaks, keep your photos safe, or help your mental health. Back up anything important yourself.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for anything tied to LifeLens is capped at $100. We are not liable for lost photos, lost time, lost revenue, or any consequential damages.
9. Termination
We can disable TestFlight access, revoke your invite, or stop sending builds whenever we need to—especially if you break these terms, abuse the product, or leak confidential material. You can leave anytime by deleting the app.
10. Updates to these terms
When the beta evolves (for example, if we add paid tiers or accounts) we will update this page, email active testers, and version the TestFlight release notes. Using the new build means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be handled in San Francisco County courts unless both sides agree to something easier.
12. Contact
